Now scientists have engineered flexible electronics that can be injected into brain tissue through a needle to mesh with biological brain cells.

This mesh of electrodes can unfold once in position and has so far been used to monitor brain activity in mice - suggesting it may be capable of similar feats in humans one day.

This will enable a mindnet system to be set up where we communicate with each other by direct thought reading devices stored in our heads and read by cell towers like a cell phone. There may be an external booster to avoid too much radio signal being projected from the mind, but it will allow extremely quick and seemless access to each others thoughts.
